Sydney is in the New South Wales part of Australia. The first day when I come to Sydney I went to the hotel and used the train from the airport to Sydney central station. After check-in at the hotel, I put some stuff there and started walking to the city centre first impression of Sydney on me was so nice.

I walked to Darling square then to Darlington harbour and I ate a great burger in Bettys Burgers there. Darlington harbour was so beautiful saw a nice bridge there and so nice buildings around. I walked through that bridge which is Pyrmont Bridge. That bridge is also well designed and close to the harbour and when I walked there were many flags on each side of the bridge and it is between all skyscrapers. Then I walked to the Sydney harbour bridge and took some photos there. I walked through all bridges and went to the other side of the bridge. I took many photos of the Sydney Opera House from the bridge and I was lucky there was a rainbow over the opera house and a big cruise ship was there too. When I went to another side of the bridge I bought an ice cream and walked under the bridge there was a nice place and the Opera house was just another side of my place. The area calls the Kirribilli area. I took photos there too and waited there a bit.

Sunset time was nice there I took some sunset photos with the bridge then walked to the ferry station. I used a ferry to the Sydney Opera house. I also found some similarities between that sea and Istanbul Bosphorus. When I arrive at the Sydney opera house side, I walked to that opera house and it was a great building. Sydney Opera house is the most well-known symbol of Sydney I think and I was lucky to visit there too. I also took many pictures from different locations. It was an amazing design and a great building. All the time when I went there I wanted to go more. It is beautiful in the day time and nighttime. I walked through and took photos then started walking to the hostel back. It took almost 30 min and rested there.

On the second day in Sydney after I woke up, I went to the new hostel which calls Bert’s Backpackers and I recognised, that area also has many nice places. When I walk after check-in I saw a koala on a tree, which was lovely. I went to the Sydney museum and used the bus from the hostel area to there. The museum was small but nice. After that, I walked to the Royal Botanical Gardens that area was huge and had so nice views from there with many different plants. Sydney Botanical garden is so beautiful and a big area with many different plants. There are nice places for relaxing and walking. It is so close to the Sydney Opera House. It was a nice combination between high-rise buildings and the seaside. I walked there and see plants then went to the seaside of the botanical garden. There is a nice place to take photos. I took lots of pictures there and then decided to go to Manly.

I used the ferry from that area to Manly. It took almost 40 min and when I arrived there I went to the bakery shop and rested a bit. Manly was suggested by someone at the conference and I went there. After eating and drinking coffee I walked to the Manly Fairfax walk area and walking it took almost 1 hour. That area was so interesting with many dead plants and I saw Sydney from there. I walked for the remembrance walk and I saw sth. Related to Gallipoli too. I read them and walked more and then on the edge took some photos of Sydney and continued to walk. When I go back I walked to Shelly beach and it was a nice area. Many people were swimming. Then I eat sth. And went back to the ferry station and came back to Sydney.

I went to the hostel back but in the evening I went to watch the fireworks in Darling harbour and took some photos. On 11 September, I changed my room again to an old place capsule hotel and then went to the Queen Victoria building. There was an arcade and so beautiful place there were many shops and areas for coffee or eating. Inside the arcade was well-designed. I really liked it there. Then I walked to the Myer Sydney and Westfield shopping centres and just looked around and there were many shopping places. After that walked again to the Sydney opera house and went to Bondi beach by bus. That beach was famous and wanted to see it too. There were strong winds and I took some photos there too. After I came back to the centre and went to my hostel.

On the 12th I went to the world square shopping area first then walked to the strand arcade there was also so beautiful and nice place for shopping. I really liked the shopping centres in Sydney. After that, I walked to the State Library of New South Wales. That was such a beautiful library and galleries were inside. State Library has a huge study space in the middle part and it is gorgeous. Also, there were museums as well. When I visit the museum side it was so beautiful for me. There were some paintings and some parts related to medicine. It was a nice place to visit. I visited St Mary s cathedral and then walked to the Customs house there was also a library and the location was nice. Then walked through the town hall to the Powerhouse museum. That museum was great with many works related to mechanisms, ceramics, carpets etc.

On the 14th of October, I went to the Market city shopping centre and bought some souvenirs and then went to single O café. I visited the Art Gallery and that visiting was good in Sydney and see how there is. There are many paintings in the museum and worth to visit when there.

After that, I walked through to the centre. I discovered new places all the time and I can feel Sydney is really nice place. After eating food I walked with the view of the bridge. Last time I went to the Opera house side and after that went to the train station for the airport. It was a good flight to Melbourne back and I was in Melbourne around 10.15 pm. I landed at Avalon airport and then went to Melbourne central by Skybus.
