Rome, Italy

Rome was one of my best trips I think just before covid, and I really enjoyed it when I visited Rome. I liked all streets, architecture, and people there.

Rome is capital of the Italy. On my trip I found out, Colosseum was an amazing place and area in Rome. I took many photos around there and walked through the surrounding of that place.  After the Colosseum, I went to the Vatican side of the city. There were so crowded, and I guess there is the same all the time. I even send a postcard to my UK address from there.

St. Peter’s Basilica is in Saint Peter’s Square and there is an Obelisk of St Peter’s Square. When you visit that area you can see it all in one place. After that, I visited Basilica Papale di Santa Maria Maggiore

Another place I visited was Trevi Fountain and it is also generally so crowded with people and many people throw coins to make their wishes come true. The decoration of fountain is great and it is decorated in the Baroque style. Another place also Bernini Fountain and there is worth visiting as well.

The Pantheon is another famous place in Rome, and it is a well-preserved place there. When entering the inside you can see a nice dome as well.

Piazzo Navona was a beatiful open space in Rome. Altar of the Fatherland was another point to visit that place was huge and over the top, and there was a nice view. The sculpture is so big. There is The Victor Emmanuel II National Monument.

Campidoglio

Campidoglio was a nice hill area to discover old sites and views. When walking around Rome it is easy to find many historical places easily as there.

Castel Sant’Angelo

Castel Sant’Angelo is so a nice place to visit. I visited there in the evening time and like other places, there were so beautiful too. I liked the walkway and that castle.

Knights of Malta Keyhole is another secret place I think and from a keyhole, I saw St Peter’s Basilica. It is worth visiting there. Spanish steps were nice as well. I took some photos there and went until the up.

Villa Borghese is a so beautiful park. There are many different places and relaxing green areas.

I also saved some eating places when I visited there and they are mainly; Tonnarello, Bar San Calisto, Nannarella, Osteria, Roma Trastevere, La Carbonara, and Il Fornaio
