Antwerp, Belgium

I visited Antwerp on 17th July 2022 and I was more curious about Antwerp Central train station. I went there from Brussels to the Central station by train. When I arrived there I really admired that station. I took many photos there and walked through the ticket-selling section of the station.  This station was well designed and a great building.

After leaving the station I walked a bit more to the China town gate then walked back to Antwerp Zoo which is next to the station. After that, I walked to the city center. First I went to the Saint Charles Borrome Church. There was service but I took some photos from outside.

After that, I visited the Cathedral of our lady Antwerp cathedral. There was a huge cathedral that looked like a symbol of the city. Then walked to Brabo’s monument. That area was including Antwerp City Hall too. City hall had many countries’ flags and the square was a nice square.

Then I walked to the Museum aan de Stroom and after passing by the Red Star Line museum visited those areas. Port Authority of Port of Antwerp was in that area too and the building was well designed. Following that, I walked through the Scheldt river. The Loodswezen building was there too but it was closed. Many cafés and bars were nearby the rivers.

After that, I went to Het Steen Castle. There was a tourist information section and upside floors had a nice view. One side was looking at a river another side was looking at a city.

After that, I walked to the Godin Minerva sculpture. The view was nice from there and there was a ferry wheel too.

If you want to visit museums you can walk to Plantin moretus museum then walk to the Belgium food trip and then that area has Museum Von der Bergh and the Rubens house.

In the end, I walked to Stadt park then went to the central station back and took the train from there to Brugge. Additionally, you can visit the Plopso station and Middleheim museums there and I ate some food in Whos afraid of red yellow and blue restaurant.
