Falmouth, Cornwall

Falmouth is in Southwest of England and a coastal town. I lived in Falmouth almost 1 month and it was so nice experience to live in that place. Falmouth has a so nice harbour, and I would like to tell there is famous with that.

I visited some places when I was there. In the city centre, market street is nice, and you can find many restaurants, pubs, café, and shopping places. It is nice to find a nice cafe and sit with sea view there.

I visited Falmouth art gallery often and I studied there also someday for my study preparations. When you walk through market street and go a bit more you can visit the Port Falmouth and see many big ships and then you an visit National Maritime Museum.

Another famous point in Falmouth, Pendennis Castle and Pendennis Point. When I visit that castle, it was nice to see beautiful city view from castle. The castle is coming from 16th century and there was seen some effects from 2nd world war there as well.

Beaches are in Falmouth are Gyllyngvase and Castle beach. When weather is nice, they are beautiful to go for swim or nice view.  I recognised there are many beautiful houses around of those beaches as well.

It would be worth to visit St Mawes Castle on the other side of Falmouth Bay by Ferry. Falmouth University is located In Falmouth. That town is close to Truro and people can visit there easily for more shopping options. Also when you visit there you can eat Cornish pastry in Falmouth.
