Manchester is a well-known city in the UK and all around the world with famous football teams. These teams are Manchester United and Manchester City. There are strong teams in the premier league and Champions League. Manchester is so famous also as a city and one of the largest city in the UK. I want to write about my trips to Manchester. Probably I have been to Manchester more than 5 times but generally, I went there to the airport that’s why couldn’t visit the city center most of my trip to there. Last time I visited some main places in Manchester and visited the city center too.
Manchester is a big and nice shopping city for me. Also, On my last visit, I really liked the museums and libraries there. In Manchester, I visited Manchester Art Gallery and really liked it there. You can see nice paintings and drawings. The entrance of the museum also looks so nice. Another museum is Manchester Science Museum. I am an engineer, and I was so happy to visit that museum. You can see how engineering evolved from the past to now. How manufacturing improved and what was the main breakthrough in the past with technology and improvements. It was nice to see for me to see some worldwide information started from Manchester about engineering. If you like to see museums another nice museum is Manchester Peoples Museum. That museum I recognized more related with political improvement of the UK and shows how was the propagandas before. I saw many different organizations and parties’ flags and there is also worth visiting.
I visited two libraries in Manchester. One is Manchester central library, and you will see the oval shape of the building and there is nice to study and see the inside. I liked the central area of the library. I studied a bit and when you say Seth it is echoing in the place. I think it is good for music as well. Another library is John Rylands Library, that library is look great and is worth visiting. When you enter the library, you feel like in the past. I recognized they allow so limited person to study, and others come for only visit the library.
Manchester Cathedral is nice to see. There is big and nice architecture. Inside the Cathedral, you can see a typical church view. Also, a sculpture of Gandhi was placed next to the cathedral. The national football museum is so close to the Cathedral you can visit there if you like to see football evolution. The city has two big stadiums one is Old Trafford, and another is Etihad Stadium for visit. If you like to see the Shopping center Trafford center is a nice and well-designed shopping place. A bit far from the center but there is also good to see.
The University of Manchester has a nice campus and buildings. Manchester Museum is located there, and you can see some animal collections include mummies and dinosaurs. This university is famous all around the world for the success of education.
Manchester is big enough to and has many opportunities to visit and enjoy. Nightlife is also so famous and live there. When you walk in the center you recognize the crowded city and many business places with shopping areas.
