My Boston trip was a day trip on the 8 October 2023. During my visit to the US, I wanted to explore Boston after New York and Washington, and that’s why I decided to go there too. I took a bus from New York to Boston in the early morning. After a 4.5-hour bus ride, I arrived at Boston South Station and walked outside the station, first strolling along the riverside. The Boston Tea Party Ships and Museum were there. I didn’t go inside because I was in a hurry to see more places in a short time. I took some pictures along the riverside. I walked from there to the New England Aquarium. The area was crowded, with many people around the aquarium.

I walked to Quincy Market. Quincy Market was nice and incredibly crowded that day. I continued to Faneuil Hall Marketplace and waited in that area for a while. I watched some street shows, and many people were gathering there to watch. The Boston Massacre Site was close by, and I walked there. The building looked impressive between the skyscrapers.

I walked to Boston City Hall then to North End and later to the Old North Church. The area was delightful, with many visitors and activities. I walked along the Freedom Trail, following a line near the street for quite a long distance with other people. After that, I walked to the USS Constitution Museum side and quickly explored that area too.

I walked to the Bunker Hill Monument. The area had some charming houses and a picturesque autumn view. I walked through the Museum of Science to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The campus was lovely and situated near the Charles River. I visited the Mechanical Engineering department as well. It was nice to explore that area and take some pictures.

After a short walk, I took a metro to Harvard Square and explored the surroundings. I witnessed some activities that day, and it was quite crowded. There was an event, I think, that day, and I was fortunate to witness it too. I went to the Department of Material Science and Mechanical Engineering, then took the metro to Boston Common and strolled around a bit to enjoy the city view and the park.

After that, I walked through the Chinatown Gate and returned to the bus station. I took the bus and went back to New York. I would have liked to see more places and museums, but my time was a bit limited.
Nevertheless, it was a great experience to feel the city atmosphere. If you want to explore more places, I recommend visiting the following areas: Beacon Hill, Public Garden, J.F.K. Presidential Library and Museum, Boston Public Library, Back Bay, Boston Duck Tours, Newbury Street, Fenway Park, Museum of Fine Arts, Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, Commonwealth Ave, and the Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University.
