Exeter is a southwest town in England. Exeter is one of the special cities for me because I finished my master’s degree there and I try to visit there in some time to see the city and friends again.
Exeter is a small city but nature is so beautiful around Exeter. First, when I go there I went for a master’s degree and I traveled by bus. I think people use busses more than trains there. It took more than 4 hours and I was about to miss the station at night then lucky I woke up and driver stop the bus after a few miles. Then I found a taxi and went to my accommodation.

First I can start with the University of Exeter. It has 3 campuses and one is Stratham which is located in the city center with St Luke campus and 3rd one is the Penryn campus but it is in Cornwall and it takes more than 2 hours by train to go there.

I studied on the Stratham campus. There are nice uni buildings and students can gather together easily. Forum building is my favorite and there are many facilities for students; study spaces, markets, cafes, etc.

Exeter Cathedral is huge and it really looks so good from outside and inside of the cathedral. If you can visit Exeter most probably you will remember that Cathedral more. The building is nice and the shapes on the wall and outside of there are well designed. The garden of the cathedral is good for summer gatherings with friends as well. Around the cathedral, there are some cafes, restaurants, and other buildings.

Another place is worth visiting is the Royal Albert Memorial Museum and Art Gallery in the city center. You can see some collections from archeology, geology, art, and many more.

Exeter High street is just the next street after the cathedral and there are many shops, cafes, pubs. There is q women figure on the wall and it looks so cool when u pass the street. Old buildings give a good atmosphere to the street. There is princeshay shopping place just next to the high street and u can see big brands there. On another side of the high street, you will see Exeter castle. That castle is in the Northernhay gardens in Exeter.

Exeter Quay is nice to walk around. There is a nice river and both sides have some restaurants, cafes, and pubs. I like walking there is a nice place to walk around the river. River Exe is coming from Miller’s Bridge to Exeter quay and between that area, u can walk more as well around the city. Miller’s bridge is close to St David’s station and leads to flowerpot playing fields.

Around Exeter is also so beautiful and if u have a car u can drive to Dartmoor or some coastal towns too like Exmouth or Torquay they are so close to Exeter.
