Llandudno is a beautiful coastal city in north Wales. It was a bit hard for me to pronounce the name of the city first. I always wanted to visit there with other cities on the coastline cities. When I arrived in the city, I directly went to the hotel from the train station and checked in quickly. My hotel was near the seaside.
On the first day, I walked down the coastal part in the evening through the pier and walked a bit more to the Secret Cove. After walking for 20-30 minutes I went back to the city center and hotel for rest.
On the second day, I wanted to use a Cable car to the hill but when I arrived there I recognized I need cash for the payment. I decided to walk with a nice view. It was like a nice hike for me. I went up from Happy Valley Botanical Gardens to one of the hills to see the city from the top. I took some photos there and continued to walk. The first destination I wanted to see was St. Tudno’s Church. It was a small church and graveyard. When I arrive there I walked around and rested a bit.
Then the last station of the cable car was close to there that is Summit Cable Car Station. I went through the top. There was Great Orme Country and Park Visitor Centre and I took some coffee there and rest for a while. There was a nice restaurant or pub and gift shop. After that, I walked around the Hill of Names which is look like a crescent hole on the top. Then I walked on the edge of the Hill and took some photos there. There were nice viewpoints on the top.
On the top, there was also the Great Orme tram station too. That tram is a cable hauled and it works since 1902. The cable cars and tram were nice to see in Llandudno. I took some nice photos of tram and cable cars. There are also Great Orme mines as well close to there.
I came back to the center again and went to the Llandudno Pier it was a nice and crowded place. There were some small shops and entertainment places for children. There was live music as well when I arrived and I listened to it a bit.
Then I walked on Mostyn Street a bit to see shops etc. I got from Lloyd Street and decided to go to Conwy. My Llandudno trip was nice and I saw some nice spots in the city. Hope all can have a chance to visit that lovely place.
