I had a flight from Manchester to Prague at end of the April. When arrived there after passing border control, I bought a ticket for the public bus to go to the Hotel. It was cheap and easy to buy the ticket from the airport. There were some ticket machines and I bought a ticket for 90 min. I arrived hotel around 10 pm and after that, I had rest and prepared for the next day. I was staying close to the Vysehrad part of the city and started to visit that part.

First I walked through Three Cubist House. That house was famous for architecture and just saw it from outside then walked through to the Vysehrad. There was a castle and a beautiful place. I needed to step hill a bit but it was worth it. In the Vysehrad I walked to the over walls and those walls had a nice city view. Prague was looking like an adorable city. When I finish walking over walls I went to the St Peter and Paul Basilica inside of that area. That church was so big and could see there from most places in the city. Next to the church, there was a cemetery and I saw many interesting graves there. On the side of that area, I saw Brick Gate and Leopold Gate as well.

When I finish that area, I started walking to another spot where is famous Dancing House. I remember I saw that building many times in books and on the internet. It was nice to see there too. It was a nice and interesting building with different architecture. Then when I walk I saw a monument Man with an umbrella between houses and it was in the sky.

Franz Kafka rotating head is one of the most famous Prague spots as well and I walked there and see that. When I arrived I saw a huge head monument with movement. It was well designed and people could see the Franz Kafka figure via that. I took some photos and videos there. It was good to see the movement of all the parts and bring all in a piece at the end.

Another exciting part and maybe the most famous place Old Town Square and after the Franz Kafka monument I went there. It was so so beautiful square with many landmarks, and shops around. The first place I wanted to see was there Prague Astronomical Clock and it was amazing I really liked it. Nowadays I am so much into clock mechanisms and it was nice to see that big and worthy visit clock in there. Another Place in there I walked to the Church of Lady before Tyn and there was close but from outside it was nice and had 2 towers of the church. Near the there, National Gallery of Prague was in. In the another corner of the square, you can see St Nicholas Church. Starometska radnice and Jan Hus monument were in other places in the square and I saw them.

From the old town square, I walked a few min. to the Powder Tower. It was another tower in the city. I took some photos of there and found Billa supermarket near there. I wanted to visit to find some local products but I recognized I could prepare my lunch there as well. I had some salad pot from there and ate in the park. It was a nice and cheap lunch for me. After lunch, I walked to the Speculum Alchemie and there was an interesting place too I wanted to visit but recognized I need cash to pay for entry and I generally use a bank card that’s why I couldn’t buy the ticket but even entrance of the place was nice and saw some chemical equipment there.

Jewish Quarter was another famous spot in the city and when I walk there I found signagoges some souvenir shops. I walked there and then went to the other most famous spot Charles Bridge. I arrived at Old town bridge tower first and then walked through the Charles Bridge. There was crowded as expected and beautiful over the river. I walked more and there were also so many shops and restaurants around. I passed from The Vrtba Garden to Prague Castle. After passing security control in the castle I went to the St Vitus Cathedral. There was a huge Cathedral there and took many photos of that as well. In the castle, there were many museums and spots. After that, I went to the Vaclavske nam area to meet with a friend. That area was crowded and a good place to visit in the city center. After meeting with a friend, I went hotel and rest for another day.

On 26 April I woke up early and after having breakfast I started walking to Kampa Park just near the Charles Bridge. That park was a nice small park in the city center and Lennon Wall is just next to there. That wall has many graffiti and people also can add something freely there. After there I walked up to the Petrin Tower. That tower was in Petrin Park and it is probably the highest viewpoint in Prague. I went up to the top of the tower and took some views of Prague images. The city was so beautiful and all the famous spots I saw easily from the tower. After going down, I walked a bit in Petrin Park there is Mirror Maze, an observation deck and if want to use there is a funicular railway. Just near the park Strahov Monastery, you can see. There has a good viewpoint and a nice building as well.

From Petrin Park, I walked down to the Charles Bridge side again and I tried a desert in the Tradicni Starorazke desert. I liked it and it was a bit hard to eat for me. The taste was nice. Then I walked to the Municipal Library of Prague. In the library, there was a tower inside and they made it from books. I think they some mirror inside and it gives the infinity effect to the tower when looking inside the tower. It was so beautiful and took some pictures there as well. After that, I walked to the Old Town Square again.

I went to the Church of Lady before Tyn a second time and this time I managed to see inside the church too. Then I went to the St Nicholas Church on the other corner and see inside of there as well. They were nicely decorated churches. After that, I walked to Vaclavske Nam‘s side and there was Narodni Museum as well the building was great. Then I walked to Folimanka Park that park area was beautiful too. R2-D2 ventilation park, Park na Hradbach, and Nusle bridge was there. From there I walked to Vysehrad again to see sunset from there. The sunset was nice it was a bit cloudy but it was ok I took some photos there during sunset time. There was close to my hotel and I went to my hotel from there to rest.

After resting a few hours in the late evening I wanted to get some night photos as well. I took my camera and tripod and walked to the famous spots and took some nice night images. I did many long exposure shots in the dark. I walked for almost 1.5 hours and then came back to the hotel to sleep.

On my last day in Prague, I had a flight at 7.30 pm that’s why I wanted to see more places and I started from the Manifesto market. It was ear time and not so busy but it was a nice place to eat and chill with friends there. Close to that place, I walked to the Novy Smichov Shopping Center. That shopping center was also a good place to shop I just quickly walked inside a bit and then wanted to see Socha Zaveheno Sigmunda Freuda. It was a man’s statue in the sky and it was nice over the street there is another with women but I couldn’t see that at this time.

Then I went to the Kubista gallery to see the steps. It was a nice photography place with nicely designed steps I think for me. After walking down I recognized I still need to try Goulash which is famous food there and I tried that food in the Restaurant na Ovocnem Trhu. It was tasty food and I liked it.

Following that I went to the Havelske trziste and Waldstein garden when I walk again the Prague castle and I wanted to see the St Vitus Cathedral. This time I managed to get inside too and it was a huge cathedral over the hill.

The last place on my list I walked down the hill and went to the narrowest street in Prague. It was nice to see there as well and then I took a tram and bus to go to the airport and came back to the UK. Prague was so picturesque and worth to visit the place. Hope all can ravel and see there someday too.
